Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

Subject: Please my Dearest i need your Assistance with Love and Trust.

Hello, my love,

How are you today?, i believe that you are doing well, I am more than satisfied with your reply to my mail, ours is a little hot here in Dakar Senegal due to our refugee condition. we are like people in the prison, i hope that soon we will come out from here. We do not have any relatives now whom we can go to, the only person we have now is Rev. Emmanuel victor, who is pastor of the (Christ for all Churches) here in the camp. He is very nice and kind to us since we came here, but we are not living with him rather, we leave in the hostel, because the camp have two hostels one for men the other for women.

Let me introduce myself to you. I am Miss Blessing Tombong, 24 years old from Republic of the Gambia, good in English and holds a degree in international communications technology Kairaba Avenue, Pipeline Junction, The Gambia. I and my brother Mustafa Tombong, 9 years old are the only surviving children of an Ex-Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. Lang Tombong Tamba, i hope you have heard from CNN/BBC about how our President Jammeh held a special commission headed by the Chief Justice of the Republic of The Gambia and leveled four charges against our father, Ex-Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. Lang Tombong Tamba, and former Rear Admiral Sarjo Fofana Gambia Navy Chief, and seven others for.

1) For conspiring with Col. Ndure Cham and others, to plot a coup in order to overthrow the democratically elected president and government of The Gambia. 2) The President said that from January to March 21, 2006, they tried to stage a coup to overthrow the democratically elected government of The Gambia with ammunition. 3) That my father and others did not give adequate information and a lot of time to minister, judge or police officer, before plotting a coup. 4) Failing to take reasonable and necessary measures to prevent and plotted a coup in order to overthrow the president against his government.

All these allegations against our father and others are false because they are not guilty of crimes directed against them, President Jammeh and the Chief Justice of the country sentenced our father and others to death. Some very good and close friend of our father and some top business men in Africa, such as Muhammad Gremo, and Benco West Africa (PLC) came to the Gambia with cash to pay for the release of our father and others, the president warned them to stay away from the case until he co-ordinate with other greedy colleagues to seize all the assets of our father and others, our houses, cars, etc. Read about our Father' s case:  http://thepoint.gm / africa/gambia/article/lang-tombong-sarjo-fofana-arraigned-over-2006-coup-attempt

A day after they appeal at the High Court in Banjul, i visited my dad in prison, he then told me about the bad dream about his life there in prison. He also reviewed mysteries to me about our last chance ($ 6.5 M), Six Million Five Hundred Thousand United State Dollar, which he deposited in a bank in Europe, he used the name of my younger brother Mustafa Tombong as the next of kin for safety reasons.

He instructed us to leave our country, The Gambia, together with the necessary documents from my mother, Mrs. Awa Tombong who is now dead after suffering from heart attack on Oct 2008. I decided to run to the refugee camp here in Dakar Senegal where i am presently seeking asylum under the United Nations refugee commission with my brother.

I would like to contact you personally for a long term relationship that will lead us to a better place in the future if we can be truthful and sincere to each other. My father told me that we should look for a foreign partner outside the country who will help us get the money transferred to his/her account, the person will help us invest the money in a good business in his country or outside the country. The person will take 30% of the total money that is transferred, and 10% will be set aside for any expenses that will come up during the transaction, finally, the person will help us invest the remaining 60% and also take good care of us.

I sincerely ask for assistance in transferring the fund out of the stored bank, Royal Bank Of Scotland  (RBS). When i contacted the bank about the money, they told me to look for a responsible person who will stand on our behalf as a friend and an administrator in the transfer of the money to his/her account due to our refugee status.

I kept this secret to people in the camp, the only person who knows it is the reverend father. I also want you to keep it secret to yourself without letting anyone to know about it. The reason why i told the reverend is because he is like a father to us here in the camp. You can contact me with his office phone number (+221-77-79-49-987 ), from 10-18GMT, Monday to Saturday. When you call, tell him that you want to speak with me, he will send for me in the woman hostel to come and speak with you. As a refugee, we do not have any right or privilege to anything be it money or what, because it is against the law of the camp.
I am waiting to hear from you soonest. Thank you for your kindness to us.

Yours in mind,

Mrs From: Blessing Tombong < blesstombong@yahoo.com >

My darling,

How are you today? i believe that you are doing well. As for us, we are fine a bit here with all hopes to meet with you immediately after the transfer of our money to your position for a better life, God will bless and reward you for every effort you are about to make to see us out from this horrible prison called refugees camp where we are living today as a result of the imprisonment of our beloved father.

I appreciated your interest to assist us to transfer the money deposited by our father at ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND of which the name of my younger brother Mustafa appears as the next of kin. Please
you can call me with reverend father office phone number (+221-77-79-49-987 ) When you call, tell him that you want to speak with me, he will send for me in the woman hostel to come and speak with you.

This place is like a prison as we are only allowed to go out on few days of the week, i thank God for the life of the Pastor of the church that is located in the camp where i send and receive emails. I chosen you immediately i saw your profile in the site without delay because they said that out of hundred, their must be a good Samaritan, i hope that it was by God' s grace that i choose you. During my prayers, God reveal to me that you are a very kind person that is capable to help us, i have 100% trust and confidence in you, i am rest assured that you will surely help us out from this terrible place called refugees camp.

Already i have inform this bank about our intention to claim our fathers deposit of which the name of my younger brother Mustafa appears as the next of kin. The only thing the bank told me is to look for a foreign partner who will assist us in this transfer due to our refugee status here in Senegal. As a refugee we are resisted to a direct claim of the money, the transfer can only be done with the help of an appointed representative as the united refugee law governing refugees all over the world. Based on this explanation, i will like you to send an email to the transfer department of the bank with this email address (rbscustomercareunit@financier.com )
Please try and contact them today and when you hear from them you also let me know.
