Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

My dear,

This is Jennifer Oneil, I am happy to inform you about my success in getting the fund transferred under the cooperation of a new partner from Portugal, i am in London now for an investment projects. Meanwhile, i didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me in transferring those funds despite that it failed us some how. Now you will need to contact REV. JOHN WILLIAMS of (CHRIST THE SAVIOR MISSION) who has been helping me in Dakar, he used to be a God-father to me when i was in the refugee camp in Dakar Senegal, his email address is: (reverendjwilliams@yahoo.com) Phone number: (221 778438273). Call or send him email for more information now,

Ask him to send you a certified bank draft of $300,000.00 (three hundred thousand u.s.a dollars) which I prepared and kept for your compensation for all the past efforts and attempts to assist me in this matter. I appreciated your past efforts at that time very much. So feel free and get in touched with Rev. Father John and instruct him where to send you the money. Please do let me know immediately you receive it so that we can share our joy and happiness after all the sufferings at that time.

At the moment, I am very busy here because of the investment projects which me and the new partner are having at hand, finally, remember that I had forwarded instructions to Reverend John on your behalf to receive that money. God bless you,

I have instructions from Miss Jennifer Oneil to send to you a certified bank draft bearing US$300,000.00, Bank draft is not deductible or transferable until it get's to the care of the beneficiary, you can only receive it by allowing me to send it to you through a courier service firm from here and the draft has nothing to do with drugs and money laundry.

Meanwhile our local post office has been grounded and neglected by our government due to terrible corruptions so it's no longer in use and citizens had no choice than to start using private courier firms and some like Fedex, DHL are very far from the area we are leaving so we usually send by private couriers because it it's sensitive and not all courier services are authorized to lift bank drafts.

I will go and confirm from a reliable courier agency and the insurance on how they can deliver this bank draft (Cashier's cheque) to your place, but you will need to urgently re-confirm to me your full names, current direct telephone numbers and current contact address which you would like to receive the draft from the courier firm to avoid unwarranted mistakes. Thanks for your understanding. I wait for your reply soon.

Reverend John Williams

Subject: GOOD NEWS REGARDS TO YOUR BANK DRAFT

Christ The Savior Mission
44 Bricks Street, City Medina
Medina Dakar
Senegal.

Peace be unto you.

Greetings to you in the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost, Amen

This is to let you know that i have waited for you to get back to me for the bank draft which your ex partner left for you but i couldn't hear from you again, after much thought, i decided to deposit the draft with Apex Courier Delivery Company here in Dakar Senegal for safety before i traveled out of the country for a course i am undergoing and it will last for three months, so i wont be around for the period of this three months. In this regard, i will advise you to contact the Apex Courier Delivery Company as soon as possible to know when they will deliver your package to you before the expiration date.

For your information, i have paid for the delivery charges for your bank draft but they will only demand the sum of ($98.00) ninety eight dollars for security and demurrage fees which you will send to the courier & security company to deliver your draft direct to your postal address in your country. Again, do not be deceived by anybody to pay more than $98.00, i would have paid for you but the security department warns that i should not pay for security reasons, they really need to hear from you and demands that the payment comes direct from your destination to avoid some unwarranted mistakes. Therefore you need to contact the courier & security company immediately and pay for the charges which will not exceed the sum of $98.00

Below are the contact information of the delivery company:

You should also let me know through email as soon as you receive your draft.
Note. Apex courier delivery company do not know the contents of the parcel. I registered it as my photographs (pictures) being sent to a friend overseas. They do not know that it contains a bank draft of such a huge amount of money.
