Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

My beloved Son in Christ,
I

dispatch it by express courier named above to arrive your destination
within 2/3 days.

Therefore, you are required to send the cost
of posting the cheque to you. My son, $370 is the cost of postage
courier insurance to enable me dispatch your package promptly as stated
alternatively $250 only been the cost of non-insurance postage.
My
dear, as a Rev Pastor and elderly man, i will advise you to receive
your package through insurance postage because the package will enjoy
insurance coverage till it gets to your destination in your country so
that i can go back and send the Cheque that is written and duelly
