Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY.
PRESIDENTIAL GAZETTE/NOTIFICATION OF PAYMENT

Attention:

In line with the new administrative guidelines of the newly elected President on foreign payment matters and the fact that this administration is focused on regaining the lost glory of this great nation, we have set out favorable payment modalities that will have nothing to do with fraud or any related activities. It is no longer news to us that you have spent so much in the past but rest assured that the Newly Elected President has vowed to end the sufferings of all our foreign beneficiaries.

We have also noted your preferred payment method and I personally assure you that you will indeed receive your funds as programmed. However, the Senate in line with the vision of the new leadership has approved your payment and your payment approval documents issued by the ministry of Finance today awaiting your final endorsement before your funds can be finally released to you.

This is to enable and afford all beneficiaries the opportunity of monitoring their fund release process and to be 100% guaranteed that they are not being used by any impostor or ghost worker. So to this effect, the Senate mandated that only two set of people are allowed to sign the fund release approval documents which include you as the fund beneficiary or in your absence, an accredited attorney with the Federal Republic of Nigeria can stand in for you.

So you as the beneficiary are hereby invited to Nigeria in order to be present in a Senate seating for signing of your release documents after which your funds will be released to you there and then. If for any reason you cannot make it to Nigeria, we will give you details of an accredited attorney to enable you contact and discuss terms with him or her so that your legal documents can be signed.

I will relate more useful information to you upon the receipt of your response. Note that we are here to serve you better. Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks

Mrs. Christy Upshaw
Special Adviser to the president.
