Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

If you received a similar email, you should go to the homepage to read more about 419 fraud.

I am. Ben Uche, Chief Inspection Agent- United Nations Inspection Unit at John F. Kennedy International airport, New York- working hand in hand with Department of Homeland Security and U.S Customs and Border Protection. During our investigation, I discovered an abandoned shipment from a Diplomat from London, UK and when scanned it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in a metal trunk box weighing approximately 25kg each. The consignment was abandoned because the Content was not properly declared by the consignee as money rather it was declared as personal effect to avoid diversion by the shipping agent and also the Diplomat.
PROVIDE YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND FULL HOME ADDRESS, TO CROSS CHECK IF IT CORRESPONDS WITH THE NAME AND ADDRESS ON THE CONSIGNMENT INCLUDING THE NAME OF NEAREST AIRPORT AROUND YOUR CITY AND OTHER DETAILS.
You can send the required details to me by email for onward delivery. All communication must be held extremely confidential. I can get everything concluded within 5-6 hours upon your acceptance and proceed to your address for delivery if you assure me of sharing the content 30% for me / 70% with you on my arrival to your house. I want us to transact this business with you and share the money, since the shipper has abandoned it and disappeared. I will pay for the Non inspection fee and arrange for the boxes to be moved out of this airport to your address by myself. But I will share it 30%/70% with you. Make sure Respond to me via my direct EMAIL:

Dear ,

You must be surprise why I have not arrive by now and I am surprise you never called me or text me to find out what is going on. Anywhere I was arrested and detained by the Defense Criminal Investigative Service. They stopped me for routine check and requested for the consignment origin certificate, which I could not provide so they arrested me and detained me throughout the night. I pleaded with them to release me so that I can get the certificate for them. So they released me and retained my international passport and the consignment until we provide the consignment origin certificate.
I have made some contact for arranging it. It is will cost $2,500 to obtain it from Europe, while it will cost $1,750 to obtain it from Africa and Middle East. But because of the activities of terrorist in the middle east, I will not want us to obtain it from there so that the consignment will not be suspected of having to do with terrorist/terrorism. I will prefer we obtain it from Africa.

Dear ,

This is to inform you that I have applied for the non-inspection certificate Monday afternoon. I have already paid for the fee ($4,500) and they also told me I will pay stamp duty of $500 before collecting the certificate. So I am hopeful that it will be issued tomorrow. Once it is issued I will then go and release the consignment and proceed to deliver to your door steps as promised. Please kindly confirm receipt of this email

This is to inform you that, I went to the security company where the consignment was kept for safekeeping. I presented the Non-Inspection Certificate to them which they took to the customs and the regulatory security agencies and I am happy to inform you that they ascertained that the consignment is not subject to examination, inspection or scanning. This further confirms that the delivery of the consignment is 100% guaranteed without inspection.
But they did not release the consignment to me. Reason being that we have to pay for the cost of safe keeping since the consignment was left there in their custody for over three months. The daily charge for each trunk box is $42.3. That means $$85.2 for the two trunk boxes. The consignment has been under their custody for 93 days. Making a total of $7,500 to be paid to them for safekeeping of the consignment. See attached copy of their invoice from the security company.
Having just paid $7,650 to obtain the Non-Inspection Certification, I am short of money to pay for this fee. I therefore call on you to join hands with me to settle this fee so that they will release the consignment to me to deliver to you. I never expected this fee since they usually collect fee before accepting consignments.
As I am writing you this email, I have only $5,650 with me. Please try and help with the balance of $2,000 so that this consignment will be released. With the Non-Inspection Certificate and other accompanying documents, delivery of the consignment without any problem is guaranteed. I wait for your urgent response.

Dear ,

This is to confirm receipt of your email. Sorry for the delay in responding to your email. As I told you in my previous email, what we need to do to have the consignment released so that I can proceed to deliver to you; is to obtain a non-inspection clearance certificate so that the consignment will not be scanned or inspected.

I therefore need a copy of your id card, to enable me secure the non-inspection clearance. It will cost about $4,500 to obtain the non-inspection clearance and I am going to pay the fee myself. I have made provision for the fee.

Once the clearance is issued I will then proceed to release the consignment from the customs/security warehouse and further deliver to you.

Yours sincerely,
Mr. Ben Uche

Dear ,

I am happy to inform you that UN has issued the Non-inspection permit for the consignment. As I told you, I paid $4,500 for the cost of obtaining it and also additional $500 for stamp duty as required, making a total of $5,000. See attached copy of the permit.

I will submit the permit to the security company where the consignment was deposited tomorrow for the release of the consignment. With this permit, we are now 100% sure the consignment will be released without scanning or inspection by the customs or any institution or agency.

As soon as the consignment is released to me, I will then proceed to deliver it to your door steps.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Ben Uche
