Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. I received the following email. It is a socalled "Advance Fee Fraud" letter, where I am promised millions for my assistance. These stories are all lies, and if I respond, sooner or later I will be asked to pay a fee. If I pay, another fee will quickly come up, and it will continue that way until I give up or run out of money. I will never see the millions, because they never existed.

> Dear Sir/Madam,

>
> I am Mr. William Monte a consulting auditor with the ABSA BANK HERE IN SOUTH AFRICA. I have the courage to crave your indulgence for this important business believing that you will never let me down either now or in the future.
>
> Some year ago, an American Mining consultant/ investor contractor with the South African Mining corporation, fixed a large deposit for (12) calendar months, valued at $19 M USD (NINETEEN MILLION US DOLLARS) in his non-resident bank account, while the funds were still deposited, the investor who was contracted by the American Mining died leaving the said fund unclaimed. However the bank has sent a routine notification to his forwarding address in the US but got no reply, even his attorney (Howard Cliff Esq) who accompanied him while depositing the fund, we have even tried reaching him to no avail.
>
>
>
> After a month, the bank sent another reminder and finally his employers, the South African Mining Corporation wrote to inform the bank that he died without leaving a will, and all attempts by the American Embassy to trace his next of kin was fruitless.
>
>
>
> I therefore, made further investigation and discovered that the beneficiary was an immigrant from Trinidad & Tobago but recently obtained an American citizenship, therefore no kin or relations in all his official documents were mentioned in his Banking documents.
>
> The amount totaled US$ 19 M USD (NINETEEN MILLION US DOLLARS) is still sitting in my bank as dormant while I am obliged to use my position to solicit for an investor whom I can invest this large sums of funds with. So far no one has come forward to claim it, and according to South African banking policy, after some years, the money will revert to the ownership of the South African Government if the account owner is certified dead.

> I am looking for a reliable foreigner who will stand in as the next of kin beneficiary to the deceased, and open up a non-resident with my bank while I facilitate the process of fund transfer to another. It is quite simple, all you have to do is to open an account anyplace of your choice and send me the details of the account for me to arrange the transition from one account to another while my attorney by the name of Alexander Cliff will assist with the change of ownership in your name as the rightfully beneficiary. The money will then be paid into this Account for us to share in the ratio of 60 % for me, 30 % for you and 10% for expenses that might come up during transfer process.
>
>
>
> There are no risks involved, I am using my position and connections in the banks with jurisdiction to do all the paper work for this transaction.
>
> Please observe the utmost confidentiality, and rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us because I shall require your assistance to invest some of my share in your country. Should find this proposition quite interesting, do not hesitate to contact me on the above contact details.
