Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

of completion and commissioning of the contract. (THE NATIONAL SPORTS
SECRETARIAT COMPLEX, ABUJA) Contract No.: (FGN/NSSC/A/2342/14/5/99) Presently
I'm in U.K. for Investment Projects with my own share of the the contract
procedure.

I didn't forget your partnership and contribution to the entire project and
your past efforts and attempts to assist me in making sure that we together get
it completed as scheduled.Now contact my Pesonal Assistant in Nigeria his name

I have informed him to assist you in getting your money paid to you through the
Bank in which i deposited the money on your name, the sum is

after all the problems from the Government at that time. In the moment, I'm
very busy here because of the investment projects which I am having at hand
right now.Finally. Remember to qoute the contract no. (FGN/NSSC/A/2342/14/5/99)
and the amount (USD$29.000.000)TWENTY-NINE MILLION DOLLARS to him (PASTORE TONY)
by this, he will know that you are realy from me, though I had informed him on
your behalf to assist you in getting your money sent to you from our Bank
without any delay.
