Miss Young

Hello, I am Miss Young. A scammer often fails in making his victim pay him money. But he does not give up if he thinks it is still possible to convince the victim. He could try a new scam with hidden millions or a big lottery winning. Another approach is a compensation letter where he promises the victim a big sum as compensation. The compensation money does not exist, - it is simply the start of a new scam. The letter below is an example of such a letter.

The Debt. Management. Office (DMO) hereby grants this irrevocable compensation approval order, in respect of the information before us here in London that you are a victim of scammers. We found your particulars with one of the syndicates who confessed during interrogation by the Metropolitan Police here in London that you are one of the victims of their operations.
We have to inform you that this honorable office in conjunction with Metropolitan Police have carefully and painstakingly made all arrangement to ensure actualization of this compensation which will be concluded within a few working days of the receipt of the necessary information and details. Consequently, your compensation will be ready to be programmed into an account in conformity to the World Bank newly approved payment mode. This development became necessary and relevant to checkmate incessant claims being made as regards to this issue. In pursuant of this development, your payment shall be made at your local bank.
Finally, for the purpose of proper verification of your identification among other relevant information for the release of your compensation, it is imperative that you contact this office with the entire document related to the business and also receipts of payment to the scammers for our record purposes. We shall also need copy of your identification, your direct telephone / fax numbers and other relevant details as you may deem necessary for final reconciliation.We would appreciate your expedited response to the above effect, to enable us work within the stipulated time frame.
