I told Isabela that it was a scam, and asked her NOT to send any money to the scammmers. Unfortunately she gave them a lot of personal information. She is at great risk of identity theft, so I advised her to contact her bank for advise.
The $420 transfer is part of a we-send-you-false-money-and-you-send-us-real-money trick. Isabelas bank is investigating the transfer at the moment. |
